Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted Ladakh's infrastructure growth since it became a Union Territory in 2019 while inaugurating and dedicating five major projects worth around Rs 3,350 crore. He underscored improvements in road connectivity, drinking water, healthcare, tourism and power infrastructure, including the new Leh airport terminal and the Nimmu–Padum–Darcha road.
