“I thought this was gonna last, I don’t know how it didn’t”
Bill Belichick made it clear on Monday that he isn’t answering any tabloid-style questions about his relationship with Jordon Hudson. The Big Js can keep those types of questions to themselves, because he’s keeping the answers to himself.
News of the reported breakup between the 74-year-old North Carolina Tar Heels coach and the 25-year-old made the rounds over the weekend. The two are said to have called it quits more than a year ago, but “remain close friends.”

They’re still also reportedly in business together, but that’s not Belichick’s focus right now. The possibly single and ready to mingle ball coach has a college football season to get through and an improved team to coach.
That improved team of his gave the No. 1 Miami Hurricanes all they could handle on Saturday night in Chapel Hill after all this nonsense about his personal life made headlines.

According to the NY Post, WRAL reporter Brian Murphy, was the one who decided to ask Belichick about the Jordon Hudson relationship news and “what it might mean moving forward.”
Anyone who thought Belichick had actually lost a step, or that nearly pulling off an insane upset of Miami was going to have him lower his guard any couldn’t have been more wrong. He’s still got it.

“Do you work for a tabloid now?” Belichick said before adding, “I’ll keep my personal comments and relationships to myself, if that’s alright with you?”
Uncomfortable. Awkward. Perfectly Bill Belichick. You can’t tell the full story of the coaching legend without it.
These types of moments in news conferences, the cutoff hoodies, and the 25-year-old ex-girlfriend/business partner are all as much of his story as all the winning he’s done throughout his career.

You can call me a sucker for a good time if you must, but I could listen to these types of answers from Belichick all day long.
